The Emerging Link Between Parkinson’s Disease & the Gut Microbiome

Over the past decade, scientific understanding of the gut–brain axis has grown rapidly. This does not mean that gut imbalance causes Parkinson’s. But it does highlight a potentially important piece of the puzzle: a disrupted microbiome may influence processes that matter for brain health.

B-vitamins such as riboflavin (B2) and biotin (B7) play key roles in:
