Gurbet Mackinnon is the Director and Owner of Taymount Clinic. Her journey into healthcare was driven by a deep commitment to quality management and patient safety, particularly in the manufacturing of Faecal Microbiota Transplants. With years of experience, especially with manufacturing and screening of FMT products, Gurbet has grasped quality assurance and quality management, ensuring that every aspect of the clinic’s operations meets the highest standards.
With a diverse and comprehensive educational background, Gurbet brings a unique blend of expertise in pharmaceutical quality, business administration, chemical engineering, and international relations.
Gurbet holds a degree in Pharmaceutical Quality & Regulation from University College London (UCL), where they developed a deep understanding of the regulatory frameworks and quality standards essential for the pharmaceutical industry. This advanced knowledge is complemented by a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of the West of Scotland.
Gurbet technical proficiency is further supported by a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Hitit University Faculty of Engineering. This engineering education provided her with a strong analytical and problem-solving skill set, critical for tackling complex challenges in various industries. Additionally, Gurbet holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Anadolu University – Faculty of Economics.
