Our Story

Established in 2003, Taymount Clinic UK initially focused on providing colonic lavage procedures powered by complex probiotics. In 2010, our founders (who are now retired), Glenn Taylor and Enid Taylor, made a groundbreaking process by extracting the entire microbiome from stools, revolutionising the approach to gut health. This achievement marked a significant milestone in our journey towards advancing and perfecting the delivery of gut health treatments.

In 2011, Taymount Clinic introduced its innovative FMT standard, producing high-quality faecal microbiota implants that transformed the delivery of gut health solutions. This revolutionary treatment was made available to patients in 2012, marking another significant milestone in our journey to advance gut health treatments. In 2015, we expanded our reach by launching our first Taymount Partner Clinic in The Bahamas, bringing the benefits of our treatment to patients worldwide with gut health issues, further improving their lives.

In 2019, Taymount Holdings made the decision to divide their business into two separate entities. The first entity exclusively focuses on providing treatment, while the second entity serves as a manufacturer that specialises in manufacturing implants. Due to UK FMT regulations, Taymount Clinic stopped manufacturing FMT and focused solely on the FMT treatments.

Taymount Clinic was awarded with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) registration in 2021.

FMT Manufacturer

Taymount Clinic’s manufacturer quarantines each FMT product for a minimum of three months at -80°C before releasing the product into the market. During the quarantine process, if any slow growing infectious diseases are captured, the product will be destroyed. Our manufacturer ensures that only safe, high quality implants are selected.
