Quarantined for 3 months for your safety

Every implant is quarantined for a minimum of 3 months at -80°C to confirm there are no diseases present. It’s important to note that we never use fresh material and donors undergo a blood test and the donor material undergoes stool testing.

Our manufacturer will only release donated material for FMT when screening proves each individual implant has successfully cleared the quarantine period.

During your initial consultation, our trained practitioners will guide you through the entire process from start to finish, so you are completely comfortable and aware of the FMT treatment procedure before coming to the Taymount Clinic. You will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

The FMT Programme lasts for ten days and includes a colon irrigation, followed by the initial FMT implant on the first day. The subsequent days, from day 2 to day 10, consist of daily FMT implants.

C.DIFF FMT Programme

You will be guided through the entire process from start to finish during your initial consultation, so you are comfortable and aware of the FMT treatment process.

During your initial consultation our trained practitioners will guide you through the entire process from start to finish, so you are completely comfortable and aware of the FMT treatment procedure before coming to the Taymount Clinic. You will have plenty of opportunities to ask many questions.

The FMT Programme lasts for five days and is specifically for patients suffering with Clostridium Difficile infection (C.diff). This includes colon irrigation, followed by the initial FMT implant on the first day. The subsequent days, from day 2 to day 5, consist of daily FMT implants.
